June 14th, the industrial outskirts of Bobigny pulsed with the raw energy of ALARMA #09. The night promised an immersive journey into the depths of electronic music, and it largely delivered. The event featured the formidable talents of DJ Nobu, Olivia Mendez, and Zisko. It transformed a sprawling warehouse into a temporary temple for techno and beyond.

From the moment we stepped into the cavernous space, the atmosphere was electric. The raw, unpolished aesthetic of the warehouse perfectly complemented the loud sound system, creating an immediate sense of anticipation. One of the standout aspects was the crowd itself. It was refreshingly not overcrowded. There was ample space to move. This allowed attendees to truly lose themselves in the music. The attendees were a vibrant and fun-loving bunch, embodying the very spirit of underground electronic music. ALARMA consistently attracts respectful and enthusiastic individuals. This makes for a truly enjoyable collective experience.
The night’s crescendo was undoubtedly DJ Nobu. He is one of our very favorite Djs in 2025. From the moment his hypnotic rhythms began to unfurl, the warehouse was entirely his. His set was a mesmerizing experience. It felt almost spiritual. It was characterized by his signature blend of deep, percussive techno and an almost trance-like quality. He explored sonic landscapes that were both familiar and entirely new. He took the audience on a truly unforgettable voyage. The energy in the room was palpable, a collective surrender to the masterful control of the Japanese maestro.
Nobu was reaching a glorious peak. At the same time, he was pushing the boundaries of what a techno set could be. Suddenly, the lights and sound went out, and silence descended. A power outage abruptly brought the set, and indeed the night, to an unexpected halt.

While the power outage was an undeniable moment of surprise, it remarkably didn’t detract from the overall experience. Given that DJ Nobu’s set was nearing its conclusion, there was a shared sense of contentment rather than disappointment. We’d already been taken on an incredible sonic journey. The abrupt end was a little jarring. It couldn’t erase the brilliance that preceded it. It almost added a quirky, memorable footnote to an already stellar night.
Despite the unexpected ending, ALARMA #09 was an excellent event. The venue was perfectly chosen, the sound was impeccable (while it lasted!), and the lineup delivered exceptional performances from start to finish. Zisko and Olivia Mendez set the stage brilliantly, and DJ Nobu was absolutely captivating. The comfortable crowd density and the fantastic atmosphere cultivated by ALARMA’s dedicated followers truly cemented this as a standout night.
For those who crave raw, unadulterated electronic music experiences, ALARMA continues to prove itself as a vital force. We’ll undoubtedly be back for the next installment, confident in another night of top-tier music and a top-tier crowd.
